Chicken & Butter Bean Paté

This was a recipe my wife and I came up with when I could only eat soft stuff after a visit to the dentist…


  • 1 Skinless Chicken Breast
  • Powdered Garlic & Salt to taste
  • 1 Teaspoon of Coconut Oil
  • 1 Can of Butter Beans
  • 1 Tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Teaspoons of *Ina Paarman Chicken Stock powder
  • Chilli Paste to taste


  1. Chop up Chicken breast, season with Salt & Powdered Garlic and fry lightly in Coconut Oil
  2. Add fried Chicken pieces to the blender and an equal amount of drained Butter Beans along with the rest of the ingredients and blend until the texture of Paté


* If you use another brand of Chicken Stock Powder besides Ina Paarman, experiment with a lower quantity first because Stocks vary in saltiness. Also look out for bad ingredients like MSG. The Woolworths brand of Chicken Stock Is also good.
